About the board of attorneys

The board of attorneys was established in Moscow in 2011 by Denis Uzoykin and Ivan Piskov, members of the Moscow Region Bar Association.

A branch office was set up in London (UK) in 2021.

The legal professionals of the Board of Attorneys provide legal advice and assistance to corporate and private clients on matters of Russian law.

We advise and represent clients in court in matters involving civil, administrative, tax, land, customs, employment, family, competition, banking and corporate law, as well as real estate, construction, restructuring and insolvency.

Our advocates advise on criminal law and provide defence and representation for individuals and legal entities at all stages of criminal proceedings involving white-collar crime and offences committed in public office.

About the founders

Denis Uzoykin has been practicing law in commercial (arbitrazh) courts since 1995. He became a certified attorney (‘advocate’) in 2002.

Mr. Uzoykin specializes in complex commercial and corporate litigation (arbitrazh), civil and criminal cases arising out of various business activities. He holds a Ph.D. degree in civil law (Moscow M.V. Lomonosov University), and serves as a president of the Board of attorneys. He is also fluent in common and professional English

Ivan Piskov is in legal practice since 1998. He became a certified attorney (‘advocate’) since 2011.

He specializes in commercial (arbitrazh) disputes with concentration on land, real estate and construction, investment projects, corporate disputes.

In parallel with his law practice, Mr. Piskov successfully pursues legal science. He teaches civil law and lectures on real estate regulation at the Civil law Department of the Faculty of Law of the Moscow M.V.Lomonosov State University as an associate professor. He holds a Ph.D. in civil law, and is also fluent in English.

Dr. Piskov is one of the leading researchers of the legal regime of various kinds of real estate objects and transactions therewith, which is a complicated, and sometimes controversial field of Russian law.
